Ride The Two Tracks

You need to arrive early enough to unload and be ready to leave at 10:00 AM.

The casino is undergoing a large expansion/construction project so parking near the casino is limited.  You need to park your vehicle and trailer across the street in the large parking lot adjacent to the golf course, then unload and drive over to the boat launch area where we normally meet.

We will be riding from Bay Mills Boat Launch near Brimley, Michigan.   Members of the NWORV club, many of whom are members of CC SORVA, and a club we coordinated with for the Indian River Rides last year are invited also.

The route will take us to Mission Hill lake look out (looks across Whitefish Bay to Canada), and a variety of forest service roads/trails through Strongs and return.

Riders meeting will be at 10:00am at the Bay Mills Casino boat launch.  We will be doing about 70 miles of ORV route, county road and forest roads.  Pack a lunch and snacks for the ride. We will stop for lunch at the McNearney Lake Cross Country ski hut which has a porta john.  Gas stop will be available in Strongs, MI, but should not be necessary for this short ride.  Note:  The gas station in Brimley is closed for renovations, so gas up your ride while still on the trailer at M-28 or the Soo depending upon how you are arriving.  Reminder It is illegal to ride down the side of M-221 to get gas.

This is a family friendly ride.  Please let us know if you will be attending so we know to look for you at the Staging area.  Stay healthy and we will see you on the 14th.
