Last Ride Of The Year November 10th:
We have our last ride of the season scheduled:
- Thursday November 10th: The last ride of the year is going to be from Paradise to Grand Marais and back! We’ll meet at the staging area on M-123, just west of the blinker light in Paradise. Please arrive early and be prepared to leave at 9:30. This is going to be a fast but long ride. The plan is to eat lunch in Grand Marais but bring food and drink just in case we don’t make it all the way to Grand Marais. Hope to see you there.
We are not going to have meetings every month during the winter. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, January 11th , 2017 at 6:00 p.m. Location to be determined.
Chippewa County SORVA has a Facebook page.
Our plan is to groom the Soo to Raco trail again right around the start of the firearm deer season. As part of the Sault Snowmobile Association’s donation of the drag, they requested that we groom the trail just before the snow flies. So we are going to do just that. We should have a nice smooth trail to start the season next year.
No ORV’s are allowed on the trails after November 14th until after the firearm deer season is over. We can always hope there is no significant snow by then so that we can hit the trails again!
